100 days challenge: 50 pages every day

100 days challenge | Read 50 pages every day : The Minireads

I have been caught up with my college applications for the past couple of months and I am going to be busy after 6 months or so. To make the most of the 6 months which I have in hand, I have decided to reach out to people, read and write things related to data science, machine learning and AI on my blog “ShrutiPandey.com”. There, I have challenged myself to read one research paper every day and summarize it in my words. I know I am no expert on those topics but I want to get started. The pursuit of excellence sometimes hampers our growth and stops us from doing what is required.

On Minireads, I have not been able to write a lot because I was not reading much. Between August to January, I could barely make time to sit with a book. I got some time for myself towards the end of January and started reading again with Ruskin Bond’s books. It has become a ritual for me, of late to pick up Ruskin Bond when I am out of my habit to read. It is easy and enjoyable. I have a sense of familiarity with Bond’s stories now which helps to pick up a book when I have not read for long. Now when I have time, I plan to read and write as much as I can. Minireads has become a safe place for me. A small place on the internet which I can call home. I plan to grow it further and help it reach more and more people.

So, hereby I announce my 100 days of 50 pages challenge!

Yes, I challenge to read 50 pages everyday and write reviews very regularly. I plan on generating more content this year, than simply consuming it passively. I have been mindlessly and endlessly scrolling through social media feeds for quite a while now but now is the time to open up and reach out, make friends and get inspired. I will keep updating on what I read and how many books I read after 100 days and most importantly, I will see if I am able to keep up with my 100 days challenge!
